Milton Lee Shaw, passed away on July 3, 2024, at the age of 92. He was born on September 3, 1931, in Plainville, Kansas, and was a longtime resident of Wichita, Kansas.

Milt had a zest for life that was infectious, and was known for his generosity quick sense of humor, and his great love for bacon. Frank Sinatra's music often filled his home, while he was not cheering on his favorite baseball team, the Yankees.

After his honorable service in the Navy, Milt dedicated much of his life to his work as a Service Trainer for John Deere, leaving a lasting impact on those he trained. He approached his career with dedication and genuine care for others.

Milt was married to his beloved wife, Marian, until her passing in October of last year. They shared a deep bond throughout their 72 year marriage. Their love story served as an inspiration to all who knew them. They cherished their children, Mike, Mark and Mindy, who were a source of immense pride and joy for them.

Milt was actively involved in various community organizations and charities, which held a special place in his heart. He was a committed member of the Asbury Church and always sought ways to give back to his community.

A man of unwavering faith, Milt held strong Christian beliefs that shaped his life and relationships.

Milt will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his son, Mark, daughter, Mindy, his grand children, great grand children, and all those whose lives he touched. His legacy of kindness, humor, and dedication will continue to inspire others for generations to come.

Services will be held at Asbury Church (2801 W 15th Street, Wichita, KS 67203) on Friday July 26th at 11:00 am. The service will also be streamed live at the Asbury Church website (AsburyChurch.org) for anyone unable to attend.
