Mildred Laverne Tally, born on March 22, 1938, in Newalla, Oklahoma, passed away on January 11, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is remembered for her warmth, love for family, and passion for genealogy, often dedicating her time to uncovering the rich tapestry of her extended family history.

Mildred worked in the Admissions Office at the University of Oklahoma Medical Center, where she made a lasting impact on her colleagues and the many students she helped. A devoted sports fan, she was particularly enthusiastic about the University of Oklahoma's athletic programs.

In July 1991, Mildred married the love of her life, Robert Tally. Together, they created a loving home filled with laughter and cherished memories. Mildred took great joy in celebrating her birthday at her favorite restaurant, Red Lobster, surrounded by her family and friends, whom she adored.

Mildred is survived by her husband, Robert Tally, her son Rob Tally, and her daughters Cheryl Shobert McCain, Kristi Shobert Freader, and Robyn Tally. She was also a proud grandmother to Brittainy Spears and husband Ricky, Tiffany Ford and husband Lorence, Rebecca Freader, Tyler Freader and wife Hazel, and Connor Freader, and proud Great Grandmother to Eli, Eden, Claire, Miriam and Norah, each of whom brought her immense joy.

Mildred's spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her loved ones, who will remember her for her kindness, dedication, and the countless moments of happiness she shared.
