Michele Lynn Matthews, affectionately known as Shelly, passed away on April 24, 2024, in her hometown of Baltimore, MD. She was born on August 28, 1964, to Herbert & Isabella Burroughs.

Shelly, as she was commonly called, remained a lifelong resident of Baltimore. Her defining personality traits included a compassionate nature, a loving spirit, and an unwavering desire to help others. Shelly's heart of gold touched the lives of many.

Although Shelly was not married, she was a devoted mother to her two daughters, Melinda and Samantha. Her love extended to her four beautiful grandchildren, Peyton, Isabella, Brayden, and Paislee Jo. She was also survived by her brother Michael and sister Donna.

Shelly's passing leaves a void in the lives of her loved ones, but her memory will forever be carried in their hearts. She will be remembered as a remarkable woman who made a difference in the lives of those around her.

At this time, the family requests privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved Shelly. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
