Her grandchildren, Nicholas James and Frankie Michael, brought much joy to her life.
Michele Angeline Longo-Baratta, born on January 5, 1954, in Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2025, in her beloved hometown. A devoted widow of Anthony J. Baratta, Michele cherished the memories they created together throughout their life.
Known affectionately as Misch, Aunt Shell, Auntie Misch, and Grandma Michele, she found immense joy in her role as a grandmother to Nicholas James and Frankie Michael. Her grandchildren, aged 17 and 16 respectively, were the light of her life, and she took great pride in watching them grow.
Michele is survived by her only son, Nicholas William, and his wife, Patrizia, who continue to honor her legacy. She also leaves behind her loving sisters, Arlene Spranze, Sandra Vician, and Sharon Merola, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
A faithful Catholic, Michele's spirit and love for her family will be remembered by all who knew her. She will be missed dearly but cherished in the hearts of her family and friends.
