Michael Roy Barnes, known affectionately as Mike, was born on March 12, 1961, in Pensacola, Florida, where he spent his entire life. He passed away peacefully on October 7, 2024.

Mike was a devoted father to his daughter, Erica Barnes, and a cherished grandfather to his grandchildren, Adynn Cash Phillips and Briella Reese Bowler. His family was the pride of his life, and he often spoke of the joy they brought him. He was preceded in death by his mother Pamela Baker, father Roy Barnes, and grandmother Annis Segall.

A man of many interests, Mike found happiness in football, fishing, painting, hunting, reading, and enjoying the beach. His passion for these activities reflected his vibrant spirit and love for the outdoors.

Mike will be remembered for his warm heart, infectious laughter, and the love he shared with those around him. He leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and a family that will continue to honor his life and passions.
