Michael James Vickerman, Sr., a beloved resident of Spokane, WA, passed away peacefully at an undisclosed date. He was born on August 24, 1942, in Spokane, WA, and remained a proud resident of his hometown throughout his life.
Mike had a zest for life and enjoyed various hobbies. As a legacy WSU student and avid and loyal Cougar, Mike had an enthusiasm and love for college football. He pursued his own career path, however, his proudest accomplishments were the successful lives and careers of his three children and the achievements of his seven grandchildren, three of whom also graduated from WSU, 3 others also college graduates and his youngest currently a busy High Schooler.
In 2002, Mike married the love of his life, Denise, and together they created a life filled with love and adventure. Michael's favorite place in the world was Priest Lake, a sanctuary where he found solace and joy.

Mike was an active member of various community organizations and charities, including the Spokane JayCees, Lake City Rotary, Forest Park Merchants Association. He was SeaFirst Entertainment Chair, Chair of Manito Golf and Country Club Annual Pow-Wow in _________________ and a Vanessa Behan fundraising volunteer. In 2004, he proudly served as the 1st Gent of the Spokane Lilac Festival along side his wife Denise.
