Michael James Macke was welcomed into the world on December 2, 1966, in Edina, Minnesota, setting in motion a life that would eventually touch countless others. On January 24, 2025, the tapestry of Mike's life was brought to a close in the beautiful landscape of Napa, California, 

A graduate of UC Boulder with a degree in Political Science, Mike's life was defined not by his academic achievements, but by the profound connections he cultivated along the way. To those who knew him, Mike embodied devotion—especially to his cherished daughters, Haley and Hannah, his mother, Kathy, and his beloved dogs. He had a remarkable way of turning everyday moments into lasting memories of love and care. His actions spoke louder than words, as he was always there for his friends, checking in on them and offering support in times of need.

Mike's work with Molly's Angels highlighted his unwavering commitment to his community, imbuing it with warmth and generosity. His genuine ability to engage in deep conversation made him beloved by many, and his presence was a source of comfort and joy.

Though Mike has now joined his father, Kenneth, and his sister, Melissa, in peace, he is survived by his daughters Haley and Hannah, his mother Kathleen, and his brother Jeff. Mike's influence was a positive force in the lives of all who knew him. He often struggled to recognize the profound impact he had on others, but the outpouring of love from his family and friends is a testament to the depth of his legacy. His kindness, passion, and ability to make everyone feel valued continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.
