Michael J. Schmitt, born on September 17, 1980, in Syracuse, NY, passed away on April 10, 2024, in Philadelphia, PA, at the age of 43. He was the beloved longtime boyfriend of Tammy and a devoted father to his two children, Mike Jr and Samantha.

Michael's favorite pastimes included fishing, drawing, and spending quality time with his closest friends. He possessed a creative spirit and a passion for the outdoors, often finding solace in the calming waters and capturing the beauty of nature in his artwork.

Survived by his loving parents, Susan and Thomas Schmitt, Michael also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will cherish the memories they shared with him. His warm-hearted nature and contagious laughter will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

In honor of Michael's life, a memorial service will be held on April 17, 2024 and a burial service the following day. Friends and family are kindly invited to attend and pay their respects to a remarkable man who touched the lives of many.
