Michael Geter

Shreveport, LA - Michael Geter, beloved father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on January 1, 2024, at the age of 42. He was born on January 8, 1981, in Shreveport, LA, where he most recently resided.

Michael, also known as Mike, had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting. His favorite place in the world was at the lake, surrounded by nature and water. He found great joy in spending time with his daughter, Jazzmane Geter, as well as his family and friends.

Known for his incredible carpentry skills, Michael was both a talented carpenter and a skilled cook. His creations were admired by many, and his cooking skills were always in high demand. He had a knack for making people smile and laugh, brightening up their day with his infectious personality.

Michael is survived by his father, Larry Geter, his mother, Penny Randles, his sisters Summer Carhee and Autumn Geter, and his brother, Clifford Geter. He also leaves behind his nephew, Phibulus Carhee Jr., his niece, Natalie Geter, and his children's mother, Rebecca Davis, along with their children Braylen Davis and Khloe Davis.

In his own unique way, Michael impacted the lives of those around him by bringing joy and laughter into their lives. He will be remembered for his warm heart, love for his family, and his ability to make others feel special.

A private memorial service will be held to celebrate Michael's life and the memories he leaves behind. In honor of his life motto, "Your hair looks nice, and that ain't what your girl said," friends and family are encouraged to share their favorite memories and stories of Michael.
