He loved good BBQ ribs and had a huge sweet tooth!
The Beatles were his all time favorite, but he enjoyed a lot of different groups such as The Eagles, the Doobie Brothers, AC/DC, and many more!
He had a natural talent for music since he was a child, even before he learned to read sheet music. He had the ability to play music by ear. He played many musical instruments, such as the accordion, , keyboard/piano, guitar/banjo
Spending quality time with his family and friends, and spoiling his dog Max.
His favorite place to be was with his family! He also loved the Oregon coast.

He first became a father in 1974 when his daughter Taegan Nichole was born. Over 23 years later, he was blessed with a son, Trevor McKay Cleveland.
He delivered the news paper for the Idaho State Journal in Pocatello while he was in high school, he played music in a band early in his first marriage to Teresa McCandless, and eventually became a mechanic and expert welder, working on specialty trucks for Tesco Williamson then Utah Tank & Trailer.
He adored his dog Harley and his "baby" Dachshund, Max!

Michael Everett Curzon, born on April 21, 1952, in Pocatello, Idaho, passed away on August 18, 2024, at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, while living in West Valley City, Utah. He was the beloved son of H. Everett Curzon and A. Joyce Chandler-Curzon, and devoted brother to his sister, Cheryl-Curzon Karnowski. He was a loving father to his two children, Taegan Nichole Curzon and Trevor McKay Cleveland, and a proud grandfather to his grandson, Jeramiah “JT” Fuger. He will be remembered fondly for his infectious smile, unwavering love for his family, and his incredible talent for music.
A graduate of Pocatello High School, Class of 1970, Michael had a varied career that began in his youth, delivering newspapers for the Idaho State Journal. He pursued his passion for music, playing in bands and learning to play multiple instruments, including the accordion, keyboard, guitar, and banjo. Michael later transitioned to a successful career as a mechanic and expert welder, working on specialty trucks for companies like Tesco Williamson and Utah Tank & Trailer. His portfolio was immense, as well as his talent.
Michael had a zest for life that included a love for good barbecue ribs and a notorious sweet tooth. He found joy in riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, woodworking, and spending quality time with his family and friends. His loyalty to his dog, Max, was unwavering, and he often spoiled him with affection. He was a steadfast friend, known for nurturing decades-long friendships and for his extremely strong work ethic, which he attributed to his father.
An avid fan of UFC fights, basketball, and football, Michael enjoyed watching documentaries and had a deep appreciation for music. The Beatles were his all-time favorite band, but he also loved listening to the Eagles, the Doobie Brothers, AC/DC and many more. Michael had been involved in Narcotics Anonymous, celebrating over 16 years of sobriety, and he grew to embrace a very personal spiritual belief in God later in life.
Throughout his life, Michael experienced love and companionship, first marrying his high school sweetheart, Teresa McCandless, in 1972, followed by marriages to Jolene Waltman and Lynn O’Neill-Estes. Although his relationships had their challenges, he remained committed to his family and friends. The last several years of his life was inundated with numerous medical issues, but he always kept a positive attitude and never gave up on living.
He is survived by his children, Taegan and Trevor (Sarah), his grandson Jeramiah (Jaela), his sister Cheryl (Albert), his stepsister Jody Tanner (Dennis), and many nieces and nephews. Michael’s spirit and legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, as he was a person who truly valued family and friends above all else. His upbeat spirit and loving nature will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
