Michael Everett Curzon, born on April 21, 1952, in Pocatello, Idaho, passed away on August 18, 2024, at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, while living in West Valley City, Utah. He was the beloved son of H. Everett Curzon and A. Joyce Chandler-Curzon, and devoted brother to his sister, Cheryl-Curzon Karnowski. He was a loving father to his two children, Taegan Nichole Curzon and Trevor McKay Cleveland, and a proud grandfather to his grandson, Jeramiah “JT” Fuger. He will be remembered fondly for his infectious smile, unwavering love for his family, and his incredible talent for music.

A graduate of Pocatello High School, Class of 1970, Michael had a varied career that began in his youth, delivering newspapers for the Idaho State Journal. He pursued his passion for music, playing in bands and learning to play multiple instruments, including the accordion, keyboard, guitar, and banjo. Michael later transitioned to a successful career as a mechanic and expert welder, working on specialty trucks for companies like Tesco Williamson and Utah Tank & Trailer. His portfolio was immense, as well as his talent.

Michael had a zest for life that included a love for good barbecue ribs and a notorious sweet tooth. His loyalty to his dog, Max, was unwavering, and he often spoiled him with affection. He was a steadfast friend, known for nurturing decades-long friendships and for his extremely strong work ethic, which he attributed to his father.
