Michael Dunklin age 68 of Bloomington, IL passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 26th 2025 in his home in Bloomington, IL.

Michael Dunklin was born on June 19th 1957 in Loda, IL and was a son to Archie and Irene (simmons) Dunklin on Oct 21st 2022 He married Jennifer Macklin in Bloomington, IL. Michael enjoyed playing pool and was a well known tournament player across the United States he always taught the younger generation on how to play and improve there skills. He loved reading his bible spreading the gospel and praying for others in hope that they would someday come to Christ and continue to help and pray for others.

Survivors include his wife of 3 years Jennifer Dunklin of Bloomington, IL His children Amy Maxwell of Jacksonville, FL Stasia (John) Pirtle of Mahomet, IL Emmanuel Dunklin of Decatur, IL Asia Rosenberger of Decatur, Ariah Dunklin of Bloomington, Three grandchildren Hailey Pirtle, Christian Wilson and Emmanuel Bailey.

And 10 siblings JoAnn (Dunklin) Myers of DuQuoin, IL Shirley Jean Williams of DuQuoin, IL Roselena banks of Virgina, Geraldine Holder of Herrin, IL Gloria Dunklin of Champaign, IL Jelena Wilcher of Olive Branch, MS, Archie Dunklin of DuQuoin, IL Molener Dunklin of Rockford, IL Dexter Dunklin of DuQuoin, IL and Paul Dunklin of DuQuoin, IL and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents Archie and Irene Dunklin. His brothers Earnest and Larry Dunklin, his sister Prozener Myers and his grandson Isaac Pirtle.

Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday December 6th at Freedom Baptist Church 2006 Fox Creek Rd. Bloomington, IL 61701.
