Michael Anthony Anderson, born on February 16, 1964, in Shelby, Mississippi, passed away on October 16, 2024, in Kaukauna, Wisconsin. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend who touched the lives of many.
Michael was a passionate sports fan, with a particular love for professional football and basketball. He cherished moments spent watching games, especially those at Lambeau Field. He was known for his infectious laughter and his love for music, often found enjoying the sounds of Michael Jackson, Prince, and George Clinton. His sense of humor was greatly influenced by his admiration for Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy, whose comedic styles he adored.
Family gatherings were always brighter with Michael around, especially when his mother's Lemon Meringue Pie or Doris Anderson’s cooking was served. He enjoyed discussing politics, religion, and race, engaging others with his thoughtful insights.
Michael's love for nature and appreciation of God’s creation often drew him to Door County, his favorite getaway. He enjoyed watching classic shows like "Martin" and "The Cosby Show," which added to his joy of life.
Michael is survived by his three children, Lamont, Brandon, and Shaun Anderson, and his cherished grandson, Kameron Anderson, who was a source of pride and joy for him. He also leaves behind his loving parents, William Jr. and Doris Lee Anderson, and his siblings, Karen Perry, Antonio Jones, Debra Powell, Ronald Anderson, and Timothy Anderson.
Michael Anthony Anderson will be remembered for his warm spirit, his love for family, and his zest for life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
