Meskerem Tesfaye, lovingly known as Meski, passed away on June 29, 2024, at the age of 65 in Arlington, VA. She was born on January 11, 1959, in Ethiopia, the place she held dear to her heart. Meskerem was a devoted wife to her husband Nebiat for 32 years and a dedicated mother to their son, Emmanuel.

Meskerem's passion for helping others led her to pursue a career in medicine, where she achieved the remarkable feat of becoming a doctor. She took great pride in her accomplishments and her commitment to finishing school. Meskerem's caring and nurturing nature made a lasting impact on the lives of those around her. She always went out of her way to ensure the well-being of those she cared about.

Meskerem found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including reading, attending church, and knitting. She enjoyed indulging in her favorite foods, especially Ethiopian and Mexican cuisines, and had a sweet tooth for cake. Meskerem had a deep love for her family and cherished spending time with them above all else.
