Obituary

Melvin Levins was a cranky man that never liked wearing a shirt.wore his heart on his sleeve and would do anything for anyone. He never liked anyone arguing but didn't like holidays, it was just another day to him. He didn't like not being able to do things on his own. He loved to laugh and make other people laugh. He was a marine. Through our lives we were lucky enough to hear many of his stories. He wasn't always perfect but no parent or person is or ever was. It's humanly impossible. Melvin was a good man. He adored his children and showed each one in his own way even if it wasn't through the words I love you or through a hug. It was normal to see him with his pipe and the smerk behind it. Everyone who knew him wouldn't know him as anyone else. That's who he was. no shirt type of man. Cranky old fart. That's who everyone called dad. He enjoyed to hunt, fish, and scratch his lottery tickets and collect cans. He always valued so much in life and never took anything for granted. He enjoyed feeding birds, squirrels, and neighbor hood cats. He had a huge heart but wore armour. He showed his love through jokes and laughter, and advice. 🕯️Melvin was who everyone calls a wonderful friend that was aged but passed to young.
