Melvin G. Barribeau Jr., 75, of East Troy, died October 9th, 2024 at his home. He was born on January 22, 1949, in Oconto, WI. Where he lived with his Grandparents Miles and Frances Faulds.

Mel married Diane Hodges on July 7th, 1979 and they had two children, Amber & Andrew.  In Addition, a Daughter from a previous Marrige, Dawn.

During his career, Mel worked as a Truck Driver for Federal Express. He had a long standing career of over 30 years with the company and retired with them. While on the job, he received commendations from both FedEx as well as the Sheriffs Department for helping to save a person from a vehicle on fire. His kindaness and willingness to help anyone in need was one of his many attributes that will be missed greatly. Throughout his life he always enjyed fixing computers and technology in general, and in his later years found his passion for small engine reparis.

Mel is survived by his wife Diane, Daughers Dawn Ahn (Danny Ahn), Amber Hill (Paul Hill), Son Andrew Barribeau (Miranda Barribeau), Grandchildren Genevieve, Vincent & Olivia, Sisters Merijo Clearman & Luann Brunner (Micheal Brunner).  Further survived by numous extended Family and Friends.

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents Miles & Frances Faulds, Parents Melvin & Muriel Barribeau, Siblings Charmaine, Catherine, Karen, Richard, Patrick, & Vincent as well as Brother-in-Law John Hodges, and Niece Korey Hodges.

Visitation will be October 15th at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Mukwonago from 4pm - 5pm. Funeral services will follow the visitiation at 5pm.
