Maxine James, a beloved resident of Maryland, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2024. She was born on July 29, 1952, in Raleigh, North Carolina, to the late William and Elizabeth James.

Maxine was known for her vibrant spirit and infectious laughter. She was a beacon of positivity and always had a kind word for everyone she met. Maxine had a passion for life and lived it to the fullest.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories in the hearts of her family and friends. Maxine will be deeply missed by her children, Samantha and Benjamin; her siblings, Robert, Sarah, and Emily; as well as her grandchildren and extended family.

A private memorial service will be held to honor Maxine's life and celebrate the joy she brought to those around her. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Maxine's name to the American Cancer Society, a cause that was close to her heart.

Maxine James will forever be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and zest for life. Her radiant smile and loving nature will live on in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace.
