Maxine Williams, 69, of Chicago, IL, passed away on May 3, 2024 surrounded by close family & friends. Maxine was born on August 8, 1954 to Joy & Maxwell Williams in New Orleans, Louisiana. After Maxine graduated from Thornton Township HighSchool in 1976, Maxine went on to study Journalism & Mass Communication at University of Illinois. After graduating with a degree in Mass
Communications & Journalism she started her first job at White Castle as a Manager. Maxine went on to have 3 children, Mark, Malcom, Miranda Williams. Maxine was predeceased by her parents Joy & Maxwell Williams. She is survived by her 3 children, 2 grandchildren Lauren & Di'Asia and many family and friends.
Services will be held at Greater Rock
Missionary Baptist Church on May 19, 2024 at 5pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Williams Family.
