Marty passed away at her home in Glendale, Arizona on October 15, 2022. She was surrounded by three of her four loving children. She was 79-years-old. 

Born September 1, 1942 in Mountain View, Missouri. Marty was one of six children, born to Lida Lee and John Farrow. She met her husband, Clyde (Sonny) Miller when they were in high school in Tolleson, Arizona and the two married in 1958 and had four children; Julie, Leigh Ellen, Clyde Jr. (Jim), and Lynette. Soon after, they moved to California, but they returned to Arizona, the only place they ever called home, in 1979. 

Sonny worked and retired from the Salt River Project while Marty obtained her real estate license and worked for Century 21. After retirement, they traveled together and enjoyed spending time with their family and grandchildren. Sonny passed away in 2005 from cancer. 

Marty’s health declined from injuries and illness, but she stayed in their home as long as possible. This fall, she joined the love of her life Sonny and her son Jim, who also passed from cancer. 

She leaves behind her sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Butch Washburn, and daughter’s Julie, Leigh Ellen, and Lynette, as well as nine grandchildren; Staci, Kirk, Matt, Dylan, Devon, Casey, Amber, Curtis, Dominique, and eight great grandchildren who will miss her dearly.

Marty will be laid to rest beside her husband and close to their granddaughter, Emily at Resthaven Park Cemetery. No service date has been set yet.
