McElroy was born on December 18th, 1944, in Mosspoint, Mississippi to the late Wyoma & Claud Lett. As of late McElroy could be found enjoying her home life and spending time with friends and family, but her earlier years were another story. They were filled with travel and making memories alongside her beloved husband Ray. She enjoyed many hobbies including reading, crochet and gardening. She is survived by her three children, Sharon Lett, cynthia Lett and Terrence Mckeller ; six grandchildren, Shanice, Dalvin, Terrence Jr, Terrionna, Tionna and Darryl; two siblings, Robert Cummings and Kenny Tyson. McElroy is survived by many other dear family members and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray.
