Matthew Isaiah Flores, born on February 18, 1999, passed away on July 14, 2023, in Abilene, TX, the place he called home throughout his life.

Matthew will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Jesse and April Barron, and Gabriel and Lindsay Flores. He leaves behind his cherished siblings, Isabella Barron, Solana Barron, and Eliseo Barron. Matthew's presence will also be deeply missed by his grandparents, Darrell and Sandra Munselle, as well as Josie Diaz. He was the great-grandchild of Leonard and Amalia Carrion.

Matthew's warm spirit and kind heart touched the lives of his many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He shared precious memories and offered unwavering love to all his extended family members.

Those who knew Matthew will remember him for his infectious laughter and beautiful smile, his unwavering loyalty, and his caring nature. He loved hard and had a passion for music, which he shared with others through his talent as a guitarist. Matthew's presence brightened every room he entered, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.

A private family service will be held to honor Matthew's life, with his loved ones coming together to celebrate his memory. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to a local music education program, as music was a significant part of Matthew's life.

Matthew Isaiah Flores will forever be in our hearts, and his memory will continue to inspire us to live with love, compassion, and joy. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
