Matthew Hutton, born on February 26, 2000, in Markham, ON, Canada, passed away on August 3, 2024. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin. Matthew spent most of his life in Markham and Brooklin, ON, Canada.
Matthew had a zest for life and enjoyed various hobbies such as snowboarding, swimming, listening to music, binge-watching his favorite shows, and camping. His favorite foods included Sheppards pie, fish and chips, pizza, and steak. He had a wide range of musical interests, from rap and techno to new country and old-school rock and roll.
One of Matthew's greatest joys was spending time with his loved ones. He had a huge heart and always prioritized his family and friends. Matthew had a deep affection for animals, especially his dogs Zola and Macy.
Matthew found solace and excitement on ski hills, making them his favorite places in the world. He was also passionate about sports, particularly hockey and lacrosse.
Among Matthew's proudest accomplishments, he graduated with honors from Durham College in the HVAC program and recently obtained his G2 gas license. He excelled in his chosen profession as a licensed G2 gas technician.
Matthew will be remembered for his loyalty, charm, sense of humor, fearlessness, sensitivity, and caring nature. He leaves behind his parents, Kelly and Jason Hutton, his sister Jillian Hutton, and brother Jack Hutton, all of whom shared a close bond with him. Matthew also leaves behind his grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, and a large circle of friends who will cherish his memory.
In his short time with us, Matthew touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. May his kind and loving spirit continue to inspire us all.
