Marygrace was not a fan of sports.
It is with great sadness that the family of Marygrace (Oliver) Howard annouce her sudden passing on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at the age of 85 years old. Marygrace was born the only child to the parents of Kenneth Oliver and Gertude Hyde in Knoxville, Tennessee. Marygrace later moved to Newark, New Jersey where she spent most of her childhood. In Marygrace's later years, she relocated to Chicago, Illinois where she began her spiritual journey and membership at Christ Tabernacle Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Milton Brunson and was a member of the Thompson Community Singers. Marygrace graduated from Farragut high school. Marygrace professional background included being a well experienced professional hairstylist, security officer and certified nurse assistant. Upon being called home, Marygrace was an active member of Family Alter Baptist Church. Marygrace was known to be a great & devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grand mother and friend. Marygrace will be lovenly remembered by her four children Arthur, Patricia, Grace and Lewis, Thirteen grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren whom she cherished and loved dearly. Marygrace was predeceased by both her parents Kenneth Oliver and Gertude Hyde, her husband Moses Howard and her grandson Michael Owens.
