Maryan Rogers, affectionately known as Mary, passed away on April 24, 2024, at the age of 39. She was born on February 2, 1985, in Minneapolis, MN, and most recently resided in Rochester, MN.

Maryan was a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and took great pride in her profession. She believed in the importance of caring for others and made a positive impact on the lives of many.

Outside of work, Maryan had a few passions that brought joy to her life. She loved shopping and often spent hours exploring stores, seeking out the perfect items. Her favorite food was mashed potatoes, a comfort dish she enjoyed indulging in.

One of Maryan's greatest loves was reading. She found solace and inspiration in the written word, often immersing herself in books that offered insight and knowledge. She appreciated the power of literature to transport her to different worlds and broaden her horizons.

Maryan cherished her family and took great pride in her children's accomplishments. Layla and Lewis, her loving children, were her greatest source of joy. Maryan's proudest achievement was being sober for 5 years .

Maryan had a saying she often shared, "Black don't crack unless you doing it." This motto reflected her understanding of resilience and the importance of taking care of oneself.

Maryan will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched with her compassion and kindness. Her memory will forever be cherished by those who knew her.
