Mary McCann Wright, born on May 29, 1975, in Aurora, MO, passed away on September 10, 2024, after an 8 year battle with cancer. A devoted caregiver, Mary graduated from Aurora High School in 1993 and dedicated 25 years of her life to working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where she made a significant impact on the lives of many.

Mary was an ardent animal lover, once sharing her home with eight dogs, three cats, and two horses. Her compassion extended beyond her profession and her pets, as she was known for her generous spirit. When Mary loved, she loved deeply, often giving her last dollar or the shirt off her back without hesitation.

She is survived by her four sisters, Becky McCann, Robin Harrison, and Samantha Fehering, all of Aurora, and Brenda Wake and husband Jeff Wake of Billings. Mary also leaves behind nine nieces and nephews and eleven great-nieces and nephews, along with a countless number of extended family members and friends, including her beloved fur baby, PeaWee.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Jr. and Carol McCann, her brother, Jeff McCann, her grandparents, and two nieces, Amanda Schnelle and Heather Luney. She will be remembered for her unwavering love and the light she brought into the lives of those around her.
