Mary Louise (Conley) Coffee, age 82, died on Thursday, April 9, 2026 day, in Joplin, MO. She was born January 6, 1944 in Syracuse, KS, the daughter of Kathryn Pearl (Eaton) Gordon and Norton Gordon.
She attended school in Liberal, KS. On, September 11, 1970 she married James Douglas Coffee. She worked at the Good Samaritan Center in both Liberal and Dodge City KS. She attended the First Christian Church in Columbus, KS. She loved her family and her friends and most of all Jesus. She was a member of the Daughter’s of the American Revolution and enjoyed reading and collecting cameos but her true passion was genealogy.
Survivors include daughter, Shelly Foster and husband Leroy, Edmond, OK; daughter, Kelly Williams Paola, KS; daughter, Elizabeth Houser and husband Stephen, Joplin, MO; son, Gordon Fields, Columbus, KS; son, Christopher Coffee and wife Amy, Lenexa, KS; sister Janetta Keller and husband Burl, Turpin, OK; brother, Lynton and wife Sandy, AZ: brother, Doyle and wife Suzy, Bryant, AR; brother, Keith and wife, AR; brother, Lex, OK; 22 Grandchildren, 33 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sons, Roy Hamby, Rene Hamby and Donald Fields, and 1 brother, Gordon Conley.
