Mary Lou Alba Aleman, born on September 4, 1965, in Austin, TX, passed away on September 28, 2024, in her beloved city of Austin. She was a devoted mother, cherished Nana, and a beloved friend to all who knew her.
Mary’s greatest joys came from spending time with her family, especially her four children: Priscilla, Robert, Gabriel, and Gabriella. She took immense pride in her role as a grandmother (Nana) to Zachary, Benjamin, Evelyn, and Harvey, who brought her endless happiness.
Her life's greatest joy was spending quality time with her grandchildren and maintaining strong bonds with her children through her daily calls and texts, reflecting the depth of her love and devotion.
Mary was known for her warm hospitality, often bringing family and friends together with her delicious home-cooked meals, particularly her favorite cheese enchiladas, and making charcuterie board's. Feeding others was her love language and being among family and friends brought her immense happiness,
In addition to her family life, Mary enjoyed listening to music & shopping at thrift stores was a hobby she loved.
She always enjoyed watching movies with her family and friends, tending to her garden, enjoying outdoor picnics.
She has always been captivated by butterflies and elegant butterfly decor.🦋
Mary’s profession as a caregiver and nanny reflected her nurturing spirit, and her superpower of love and comfort made a lasting impact on those around her. She was a loving daughter to her mother, Pasquala Alba, and sister to her brother, John Paul Alba, along with numerous nieces and nephews whom she adored.
Mary Lou is survived by her husband, Robert Aleman, and her close-knit family, all of whom will cherish her memory and the legacy of love she leaves behind. She will be dearly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
