Obituario

Mary L. White, 75 passed away on April 26, 2025, at her residence.

Born in Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late Royce and Ella Humphries. She retired from textiles and was a member of Sardis Methodist. She loved her Lord and family, loved to read the Bible and sewing.

She is survived by a sons James F. White of Gaffney and John White of Spartanburg; two daughters, Mary E. White and Deborah Perry, both of Gaffney; two sisters, Jimmy Lowry and Brenda Humphries of Gaffney; seven grandchildren, Gwen O'Neil, Stephanie Mann, Joey Smith, Jonathon Cummings, Nicolas Cummings, Justin White and Joshua White; several great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Royce Humphries Jr., three sisters Carol Duncan, Peggy Dillard, and Hope Alexander.

Receiving friends will be held at 12:00 noon on April 27, 2025, at Gordan Mortuary of Gaffney, SC. The funeral will be held on April 28, 2025, at Sardis Methodist Church in Gaffney, SC.
