Mary Ellen Mieras, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on November 28, 2024, at the age of 86. Born on February 9, 1938, in Flagstaff, AZ, Mary spent her final years in Milan, NM, where she embraced her passions and loved ones.

Mary was known affectionately as "Nana" to her family and friends. She had a zest for life that was evident in her favorite hobbies, which included traveling, gardening, and decorating. Her culinary favorites, particularly chili rellenos and enchiladas, brought joy to many family gatherings.

Throughout her career, Mary worked with the Highway Department and in Human Services, dedicating herself to her community. She shared her love of music with those around her, often enjoying the sounds of artists like Roberto Griego and Freddy Brown.

Mary is survived by her loving spouse, Willie Jaramillo, and her two daughters, Patricia and Madelene. She was a proud grandmother to Jennifer, Andrea, Crystal, Linda, Erica, Manuel, and Racheal, and cherished her role as a great-grandmother to Zhendae, Genelle, Alyssa, Fabian, Azeriah, Niko, Isaiah, and Madlyn.

Mary is also survived by her brother, Ernie Valdovino, and her sister, Yolie Valdovino, as well as her sister Florence. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and will forever remain in their hearts.
