Mary Ann Martino (Bennett), 75, of Spring Hill Florida passed away the evening of September 24, 2024.
Mary Ann was born on February 21, 1949 in Washington, DC.
She was the daughter of the late Jean Christine Moran and Marion "Jack" Bennett.
On August 16, 1971, she married the love of her life, the late Robert L Martino. The 26 years the spent together were amongst the happiest of her life. Together, they had 2 children, Donna and Robert, both of whom meant the world to her.
Mary Ann worked for many years as a Teacher's Assistant, helping children with disabilities. Later in life she would work as a bartender at the American Legion, where many of here dear friends also worked or were patrons of.
Mary Ann was an avid fan of the Washington Redskins and enjoyed watching them over many years. Though, what Mary Ann enjoyed most of all was spending time with her family and her friends at the American Legion and VFW.
Mary Ann is survived by: her daughter, Donna Johnson and her husband Brian, her son, Robert Martino and his wife Tania, grandchildren Brian and Gabrielle Johnson, sister Betty Robertson, niece Teresa Haardt, nephew Charlie Haardt, great Niece Taylor Haardt, and her adoring cat, Frankie.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert, her brother Danny, her dear companion of many years, Mike Smith and her cat Kitty.
