Mary Klefforth, 75, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2026, in New Braunfels, Texas, where she had happily resided for the past three years. She was a woman of profound faith, deep love, and enduring devotion to her family, leaving behind a legacy of warmth that will be cherished by all who knew her.

Born on November 8, 1950, Mary spent her life cultivating a kind, welcoming spirit. She was a lifelong, avid churchgoer and a deeply dedicated member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. Her faith was the absolute cornerstone of her life. She found great joy, comfort, and a true sense of community within her church family, pouring her heart into serving others and raising her family with strong Christian values. Mary’s grace, gentle guidance, and unwavering commitment to her faith touched countless lives within her congregation and neighborhood.

Beyond her dedication to her faith and family, Mary had a deep appreciation for the simple beauty of nature. She had a soft heart for animals and found great joy in the companionship of dogs and the peaceful presence of birds, always appreciating their song and beauty in the world around her.

Family was everything to Mary, and she created a home filled with love, laughter, and open arms. She is survived by her beloved husband of many years, Steve Klefforth, who was her constant companion and partner in life. She leaves behind her three dedicated sons, Jason, George, and Footie, who carry forward her strength and values.

Mary was also a proud and doting grandmother. She is survived by her cherished biological grandchildren, Elizabeth and Christian, as well as her deeply loved bonus grandchildren, Juanita and Emma. Mary held each of them uniquely close to her heart, celebrating their milestones and surrounding them with unconditional love.
