Mary Ann Ferguson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and dedicated educator, passed away on June 14, 2024, in Delray Beach, FL. She was born on January 11, 1946, in Williamsburg County, SC. Mary Ann had a heart of gold and was known for her loving and nurturing personality.

Mary Ann's passion lied in working with children, and she dedicated her life to their education. As the owner and principal of Bar & Ferg's Academy, she made a significant impact on the lives of countless children. Her determination and persistence in providing quality education were admired by all.

Mary Ann was married to Roosevelt Ferguson, and together they raised their children, Carlos and Carla Ferguson. She was also a proud grandmother to Treva Allen, Chelsea Williams, Laquinta Armstrong, Garrett Ferguson, Jerod Ferguson, Carlos Ferguson, Tyhesha Ferguson, and Dillon Balam. Her legacy extended to her great-grandchildren, Janiyah Bradley, Jada Bradley, Miley Anderson, Christopher Anderson, Wyatt Williams, Wayde Williams, Lordis Ferguson, and Skye Ferguson.

In addition to her educational contributions, Mary Ann was an active member of St. John Primitive Baptist Church. Her involvement in the church and her unwavering Christian faith brought her comfort and strength throughout her life.

Mary Ann Ferguson will be remembered for her funny and caring nature, as well as her dedication to making a difference in the lives of children. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all those she touched. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and the community she served.

A funeral service will be held at St. John Primitive Baptist Church to honor and celebrate Mary Ann's life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Mary Ann Ferguson Memorial Scholarship Fund, which will provide educational opportunities for underprivileged children, continuing her commitment to education even after her passing.
