Marvin Wade Young, born on September 26, 1963, in Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away on September 9, 2024, at the age of 60 in Grand Prairie, Texas. A devoted husband and father, Marvin was married to his beloved wife, Demetria Young, for 26 wonderful years. Together, they raised two daughters, who brought immense joy to his life, and he cherished his role as a grandfather to two grandchildren.

Marvin had a passion for football, particularly the Dallas Cowboys, whose games he never missed. He also enjoyed indulging in his favorite foods, chicken and BBQ. Known for his infectious laughter and warm personality, Marvin loved nothing more than making those around him smile.

He is survived by his loving family, including his sisters Debra Young-Moton, Brenda Young-Epps (Dennis), Diane Young-Davis, and Denese Young-Smith (Gregory), as well as his brothers Kenneth Young, Donnie Young, and Robert Young. Marvin's memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
