He leaves behind a void in our lives that can never be filled. Martin was more than just an uncle, brother, son, friend he was a father and the youngest of four siblings. He had a heart of gold, always putting others' needs before his own, even when he was facing his own struggles. He had a way of making everyone around him feel loved and cherished, especially his three daughters and son, whom he adored so much. He brought joy and laughter to every family gathering. His infectious smile and playful spirit could brighten even the darkest of days. He faced life's challenges with unwavering faith, always keeping God close to his heart. His strong belief was an inspiration, a reminder that even in the toughest times, we can find solace in our faith.
Martin Villanueva, lovingly known as "Giggles," was born on September 26, 1989, in Visalia, California. He passed away on October 8, 2024, in Yakima, Washington. Martin was a devoted father to his three beautiful daughters ,Angela Ailyn Villanueva-Contreras, Anayeli Lynn Villanueva-Contreras ,Luz Angel Villanueva-Contreras and son Martin Jr Moises Villanueva-Contreras, who were his proudest accomplishments and brought immense joy to his life.
A man of unwavering positivity, Martin embodied the spirit of resilience with his favorite sayings, "Never give up, keep getting up," and "Everything will be okay." His infectious smile and sincere kindness touched the lives of everyone he met, leaving a lasting impression on friends and family alike.
Martin is survived by his loving parents, Rodolfo Villanueva and Maria Guadalupe Vega; his brothers, Jesus and Rudy Villanueva; his sisters, Maria E. Sambrano and Alicia Salinas; as well as uncles Jesus and Yolanda Villanueva,Miguel and Rocio Villanueva, neices, nephews and cousins. His faith as a Christian and belief in God provided him strength throughout his life, guiding him in his journey.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on through the love of his children and the memories he created with those he cherished.
