One of Martin's proudest accomplishments was his service in the military, where he dedicated 18 years of his life. He was admired for his bravery and commitment to his country. He was known as a great woodworker who made many of his family and friends beautiful wooden trinkets and boxes. Martin enjoyed his work at Pharmatech, to whom he dedicated 11 years.

Martin was a proud father to his son, James Martin McDaniel. He also had twin daughters, Brandy Paige and Shawntell Marie McDaniel, who unfortunately preceded him in death. Martin adored his grandchildren, Jonah and Charlie, Abigail, Lucas, and Aleigha, who brought joy and laughter into his life.

Survived by his loving family, Martin will be deeply missed. He is survived by his sisters, Hazel Shelton and Phyliss McDaniel, and his brothers, Lee McDaniel and David McDaniel. Martin was the youngest of 9 children and was preceded in death by his other siblings, Delbert McDaniel, Cortland McDaniel, Dwayne McDaniel, and Lewis McDaniel. Their bond and shared memories will forever keep Martin close to their hearts.

Martin was known for loving the outdoors and enjoyed spending time in nature. He had a special place in his heart for visiting Tangie's Cafe for coffee, where he would gather with friends and share stories.

Martin James McDaniel will be remembered as a kind-hearted and courageous man whose presence brought warmth and joy to those around him. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
