She accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of her late grandfather Rev. Van Cornelous, Sr. Marquita enjoyed traveling, cooking, and fishing. Her famous motto was "Nothing beats FAILURE...but a TRY"! She would try anything that was positive. Her children and husband meant the world to her, although she was a mama's baby. She was a kind hearted person who cared about everyone. She played the flute in grammar and high school. She also played the piano by ear although she did have lessons.
"WIN"...for those of you who knew her, knows what that means! 😉
In the arms of the Lord.
