Marlene Robinson, affectionately known as Mari, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2024, at the age of 74. She was born on June 5, 1949, in Virginia Square, Arlington, VA, and had most recently resided in York, PA.

Mari dedicated her life to education and was a beloved elementary school teacher. Her passion for teaching touched the lives of countless students, leaving a lasting impact on their education journey.

She was married to Chris Robinson, and together they shared a loving and fulfilling life. Mari was a devoted mother to her daughter, Aaliyah Robinson, bringing joy and love into her life.

Mari's personality was defined by her sense of humor, sweetness, and caring nature. She had a heart full of love and always extended a helping hand to those in need. Her kindness and warmth will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her immediate family, Mari is survived by many close relatives and friends who cherished her presence in their lives.

Mari was an active member of the Garden Chapel Baptist Church, where her faith was an integral part of her life. Her Christian beliefs provided her with strength and guidance throughout her journey.

Mari's legacy will live on through the memories she created and the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and community.

A memorial service will be held in honor of Mari's life on April 25, 2024, at Garden Chapel Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to a charity of your choice in Mari's memory.
