Mark R. Kingkiner, affectionately known as "Birdman," born on February 9, 1962, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away on September 7, 2024, in his beloved city. A dedicated husband to Annette McAuley, Mark was a proud father to his two children, Jennifer and Melissa, who brought him immense joy.
Mark had a passion for home improvement projects and was often seen lending a hand to friends and neighbors, helping them enhance their living spaces. His love for Chicken and rice and rock and roll, especially Coldplay, reflected his vibrant personality. A lifelong fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, he enjoyed cheering for his team and sharing laughter with friends.
Mark was known for his big heart, especially when it came to animals; he took great pride in nurturing and feeding homeless cats in the community. His sense of humor and genuine kindness made a lasting impact on those around him, as he was always there for a friend in need.
He is survived by his mother, Stella, and his siblings: Theodore, Sharon, Michael, Robert, David, and Lori. Mark's legacy of laughter, compassion, and dedication to helping others will be dearly missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Philadelphia SPCA, honoring Mark's love for animals and his commitment to making a difference in the lives of those in need.
