Mark Jacob Lane, born on June 5, 1999, in Ahoskie, North Carolina, passed away on October 30, 2024, in his hometown. Known affectionately as Jacob, he was a devoted father to his beloved daughter, Kaylee, who brought him immense joy and pride.

Jacob's life was characterized by his unwavering love for family and friends. He was known for his bright smile and the warmth he brought to every gathering. His greatest accomplishment was undoubtedly being a father, a role he cherished deeply.

He is survived by his parents, Susan and David Lane; his grandmothers, Trudy and Brenda; his second mom and aunt, Trudy; his uncle, Jamie; and his cousins, Michael, Amber, Olivia, Ashley, Stephen, Nick, and Lynn. Jacob's spirit will continue to shine through the lives he touched, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
