Mark Edward Hartman, age 59, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on July 21st, 2024.
Mark was born January 3rd 1965 to Carol (Art) Frede and Ronald (Sharon) Hartman in Cincinnati, Ohio. He grew up in Cincinnati but lived in a few different places over the years and passed away in Richmond, Indiana. He served in the U.S Army in the 80s when he turned 18, and greatly enjoyed his travels and time spent in Germany. He was a finisher in woodwork for 20+ years and was extremely talented in his work. He was quite the storyteller, and ever the jokester. He loved to make others laugh and had an infectious smile. He was charismatic, a social butterfly and giving but also so very stubborn. He was someone that could always be counted on, and he gave the best advice. He passed along much of his wisdom while here on earth. He was also a loving and dedicated father, and grandfather. He was a hardworking man his entire life, and now he is finally at rest with his son, Seth. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him.
Mark is preceeded in death by his parents Carol (Art) Frede and Ronald Hartman, his brothers Ronald Hartman Jr and Glen Hartman, sister Penny (Patrick) Stricker, and his son Seth Hartman. He is survived by his wife Paula Hartman, his brother Russell (Sharon Rose) Hartman, four children Alexis (Caleb) Barrett, Wyatt Hartman, Luke Hartman, and Chase Hartman, and two grandchildren Henry Barrett and Finnley Barrett. As well as several nieces and nephews.
He was laid to rest at the Dayton National cemetery.
We'll plant real trees for you in Mark's memory and display your contribution forever.
