He loved The Dukes of Hazzard. We took turns each week because we only had one tv, The Facts of Life for me one week, The Dukes of Hazzard for him the following week. He was gracious about it and never complained.
Mark Allen Meckley, born on November 5, 1968, in Cambridge, OH, passed away on June 14, 2024, in Edenton, NC. He was known for his kind, gentle, and sweet soul, always willing to help others and constantly thinking of their needs.
Mark had a deep passion for tinkering with cars, motorcycles, and bikes. He enjoyed the challenge of working on anything with wheels and possessed a talent for woodworking. Fishing held a special place in his heart, and he savored the taste of freshly caught fish. Rock n Roll was his preferred genre of music, connecting him to his favorite bands and musical artists.
Above all, Mark cherished spending time with his family and friends. His warm nature and selflessness made him a beloved presence in their lives. He is survived by his parents, Larry Meckley and Kathleen Meckley, as well as his two sisters, Marlene Badida and Pamela Meckley. Additionally, he leaves behind his nieces, Tara Meckley and Alexis Badida, and his nephew, Cruz Badida, along with several cherished cousins and his North Carolina family and friends as well.
Mark Allen Meckley will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His kind spirit, willingness to lend a hand, and love for those around him were truly admirable. May he rest in peace, forever remembered for his remarkable qualities and the joy he brought into the lives of others.
Calling hours will be held at Bundy-Law funeral home on Friday from 5-6:30pm and the Memorial service will begin at 6:30pm
