Marjorie was known for her sweet and kind nature, which endeared her to everyone who knew her. She found joy in her vegetable and flower gardening, particularly her beloved roses, and was renowned for her cooking and baking, with her chess cake being a favorite among family and friends. A lover of music, she cherished gospel and country tunes, often filling her home with their melodies.
An avid reader of her Bible and a dedicated journal keeper, Marjorie found peace and inspiration in her faith. She loved nothing more than visits from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. She also enjoyed watching "The Bold and the Beautiful," often finding relatable stories within the show's plotlines.
Marjorie had a special bond with her sister Betty, who was not only her sibling but also her best friend until the end. She had a special place in her heart for her pets, including Tiger, Frosty, and Mixie, who will greet her in heaven, and her beloved cat Smokey, who provided comfort during her final days.
Known affectionately as "Aunt E," Marjorie left behind a legacy of love and warmth, encapsulated in her favorite saying, "No way José." She will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
