Marion Jeanette Koppert, a graceful lady who appreciated elegance and tranquillity, passed away on May 2, 2024, at the age of 77.

She was born on a winter's Sunday on January 19, 1947, in Germany. With her husband Wolfgang and young son Romuald, they moved to the new world of Africa.

Marion spent her career years in the leafy Pretoria East suburb of Die Wilgers, The Willows, and more recently resided in Port Alfred, along the Sunshine Coast of South Africa.

Marion had a deep passion for fine arts and architecture, which she pursued throughout her life.

She found solace and inspiration in the beauty of her surroundings; both tending to her lush gardens and intricate decor of her homes, always seeking out moments of tranquility in her artistic endeavors.

Marion was a proud and caring mother to her son, Romuald. She cherished her role as a mother and embraced every opportunity to nurture and guide her son with love and wisdom.

Marion leaves behind a lasting legacy of grace, elegance, and an appreciation for the finer things in life. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
