Mario was born in Imus, Cavite, Philippines in 1948. He moved to Canada and started his new life in Winnipeg in 1974, where he met his wife, Tessie. In 1988, they had their daughter, Maritess Megan Cruz (rejie) and son Gregorio (cyrell) shortly after, they moved to British Columbia in 1991. Mario had always been the most loving and caring husband to his wife of 47 years, Tessie and father to his daughter, Maritess Megan and son,Greg. He did everything he could to ensure his loved ones were taken care of. He passed away peacefully on January 3rd, with his wife and daughter by his side. Although his presence will be forever missed and is deeply felt, we know he is at peace watching over his loved ones.
