Mario was a very giving and loving person with a big heart. He loved to go the the Houston Livestock and Rodeo Show each year with his family. He enjoyed all the delicious foods there especially the Turkey legs. He loved buying his big belt buckles.
Making his nieces and nephew feel loved, special and happy.

Mario E Mendez, a beloved husband, son, brother, and uncle, passed away on July 22, 2024, at the age of 48. He was born on June 22, 1976, in Brownsville, TX, and most recently resided in Austin, TX.
Mario's vibrant spirit was reflected in his favorite hobbies, which included playing with RC cars, indulging in Xbox gaming sessions, and watching movies. He had a particular fondness for the mouthwatering tacos from Matamoros and his wife's spaghetti. Mario's taste in music ranged from the rock anthems of Guns N Roses and Metallica to the soulful melodies of Mana.
An interesting fact about Mario was his annual tradition of attending the Houston Livestock and Rodeo Show with his family. He relished the delectable food offerings, with a special affinity for the turkey legs. Mario also took pleasure in collecting big belt buckles.
However, nothing brought Mario more joy than making his nieces and nephew feel loved, special, and happy. He cherished spending time with them and creating beautiful memories. Trips to the beaches in Mexico and Texas held a special place in Mario's heart, as did watching car shows on television.

Professionally, Mario was a highly skilled certified dental laboratory technician. He took pride in his work and was known for his talent and attention to detail.
Mario was deeply committed to his relationship with his love, Michelle Mendez. Their bond was strong, and they shared a love that was evident to all who knew them. Mario also loved his beautiful dog Shadow. Spoiling her every morning.
Mario E Mendez will be remembered for his giving nature, his kind and loving heart, and his dedication to his family. He leaves behind cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of his loved ones.
A private memorial service will be held to honor Mario's life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association.
Rest in peace, Mario. You will be greatly missed.
