Maria Herrera, a resident of Harlingen, Texas, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, August 24, 2024. She was born May 3, 1958, to Augustin and Maria Lopez in Brownsville Texas. Her loving family survives her: 2 Sons, Emmanuel (Meme) (Carmen) Herrera David Tomas (Sylvia) Vallejo Garza; 2 Daughters, Diana (Jeff) Deal and Linda M. (Chuy) Garza; 3 grandchildren Jacquline Garza, Jose Herrera, Jazlyn Herrera, and nieces, nephews, and one sister; Lupita Hernandez. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ezequiel Herrera, Tommy Garza, and Lydia Garcia, brothers Alfredo Lopez and Jesse Martinez. Maria was a loving and dedicated daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She will forever be loved and missed by everyone who knew her.
