Maria Carson, 42, of Ogden, passed away unexpectedly on the evening of December 23, 2022. Maria was born on July 18th, 1980 to Robert Mitchell Carson and Katherine Marie Carson in Salt Lake City.

After graduating from Bountiful High School, she went on to receive her ASN to become a registered nurse and achieve her dream career. Maria fiercely loved every moment of saving lives and treating her patients.

Her friends and family considered Maria to be the most ambitious women they’ve ever met, and continuously watched in awe as she accomplished many of her goals. However, Maria considered her children to be her proudest accomplishment. She was a model of how a daughter, sister, mother, friend, and nurse should be.

In her free time, Maria loved reading, painting, skiing, and most of all, cooking diverse and flavorful meals. Maria also had a passion for animals and would often volunteer at local shelters to assist in caring for dogs, cats, and other animals, in hopes that she could bring them as much joy as they brought her.

Maria is survived by her mother Katherine Carson, father Robert Carson, children Talia, Xavier, Enrique, and Tanisha. As well as her 2 dogs, Bailey and Bolt, and 1 cat, Sox, whom she loved dearly.

Memorial services will be held on January 3, 2023, at 11:00am, at the family’s home in Salt Lake City. Funeral services have not been made at this time, but the family will be keeping loved ones updated when arrangements are made.
