Maria Carmen Sanchez, age 23, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away on August 20, 2025. She was born on September 14, 2001, to Andrew Mejar Sanchez and Carlos Sanchez.
Maria was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her. She loved spending time with her family, traveling, and giving her heart to others through her volunteer work at the local animal shelter. Guided by her deep compassion for people, Maria was pursuing her dream of becoming a nurse, dedicating herself to a future of caring for others.
She is survived by her loving parents, Andrew and Carlos, and her cherished brothers, Sebastian and Andres. Her warmth, kindness, and adventurous spirit will forever be remembered by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
A service to celebrate Maria’s life will be held in Charlotte, North Carolina. Details will be shared with family and friends.
