It is with profound sadness that the Porter family share the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother,  great grandmother and great, great grandmother. Margaret Porter , 91, went to heaven on June 18 , when god decided he needed another angel .       Margaret was born in Zachary, La.  in 1933 where she met and married Henry Porter in 1950 and god blessed them with nine children.. In 1960, Margaret and her family moved to Seaside ,Ca . after Henry Porter was stationed at Ford Ord , Ca. After 30 years of working for Civil Services on Fort Ord, Ca. Margaret retired and found many hobbies . .She had a lot of hobbies but really loved god , family , friends, cowboy movies wheel of fortune , stuffed green peppers, jelly beans and life She  will be missed by so many and l leaves behind children, siblings, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren to celebrate and mourn her life and passing.                           . Margaret is survived by 7 children. Margaret Ann Robinson, Ronald Porter, Vicky Davis, Debra Bolger, Derek Porter, Tommy Porter and Valerie Roper . She is also survived by 3 sisters, (twin sister Mary Alexander), Mildred Dunn, Corrine Green and 1 brother Ernest Tennant Jr.. Also left to mourn Margaret Porter are numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great , great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Porter (2006), sons Henry Porter jr. (1975), (Kenny Porter (1980), granddaughters Latasha Roper (2021) and and Antwonette Lane (1981).                                                  Margaret was a beautiful soul who will be missed every second, hour , day , week , month , forever.                                    ‘God saw you getting tired, A cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you and whispered , “Come with me”. With tearful eyes we watched you  and saw you fade away, although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating , your tender hand at rest, God took you home to prove to us, he only takes the best ‘“ .                                                 Thank you to Hospice of Monterey , Mission Memorial Funeral Home  and god .         “Those we love don’t go away they walk besides us . Every day, unseen, unheard but always near. So loyal. So loved and so missed. Until we meet again, Margaret Porter, we will always love and cherish the time we had together on earth and we will see you in Heaven.
