Alice Louise Osborne age 92, passed away Monday, November 6, 2023 at Mt. Laurel Rehab & Nursing, Rural Retreat, Va.
Alice was a wonderful mom, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Garnett Osborne; son, Earnest Junior Osborne; parents, Johnny and Allie Parks; several brothers, sisters, and in-laws.
Alice is survived by six sons, Wayne Osborne of Atkins Va., Larry Osborne (Connie) of Marion, Va., Robert Osborne, Ronnie Osborne, Randy Osborne (Michelle), all of Marion, Va., Sam Osborne (Barbara) of Chilhowie, Va.; two daughters, Rita Thompson (Jimmy) of Marion, Va., Cathy Bosley (Eddie) of Atkins, Va.; several grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces; special niece, Betty Faye Anderson; and many sisters-in-law.
Special thanks to her caregiver, Barbara Osborne.
The family will receive friends Friday, November 10, 2023 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Fraziers’ Seaver-Brown Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor Mike Sage officiating. Burial will follow in Burton’s Chapel Cemetery, Rt. 603, Ripshin Road, Troutdale, Va. 24378.
