Margaret (Maggie) Mary Boland was a curious, loving soul with an undeniable passion for cooking, music, and learning. She spent as much time in the kitchen as she could, dancing to music as she tried new recipes. She leaves behind her mother, Amy, stepmom, Sara, stepdad, Clint, grandparents, Peg and Tom, aunt, Julie, and her four siblings, Bella, Evan, Savannah, and Evan. Maggie's proudest accomplishment was always starting her business, Maggie's Rise and Shine Baked Goods. She loved being able to make a living out of what she loved and being able to get to know her community through food. She strived to make the culinary industry more sustainable and accessible for everyone. Throughout her life, she supported St. Jude's Children's Hospital and World Creativity & Innovation Week/Day and thoroughly believed that both organizations would change the world. Creativity fueled Maggie's passion for life and fair and equitable access to medical care was a cause she fought for because as a person with a chronic illness, she knew how hard living a healthy life could be. Throughout her life, Maggie was constantly tested on how much she would fight for herself. And every time, she showed the world she would do whatever it takes to achieve what she wants. The people in her life have always admired her passion for learning, determination to accomplish her dreams, commitment to helping others cope with chronic illness, and ability to express herself in whatever she did.
